Ice Skating: Diamond Edge Figure Skating Club
Little Rock, Arkansas
- DEFSC exists to encourage ice skating as a sport, whether recreational or competitive, for all persons and to take necessary steps to promote such throughout Central Arkansas and the Mid-South Region. DEFSC is a member club of the United States Figure Skating Association USFS which in turn is a member of the International Skating Union.
- DEFSC is governed by a board of directors which is elected each year by the membership at its annual meeting and awards banquet. The Board meets on the first Monday of each month and members are welcome to participate. Other activities of the club are handled by standing or ad hoc committees. Club members are expected to participate in the club’s varied activities.
- Anyone can start with competing at the Basic Skills level. As each skater progresses, there are USFS tests and competitions at each level to mark progression.
- For the recreational skater, the club offers opportunities for education, fun and social skating with other club members and their families!
